Located close to the centre of Southampton, in the wonderful village of Chilworth, The Chilworth Arms is well connected to the surrounding area and beyond.

In a prime position on the south coast, Southampton and the surrounding villages offer unmatched national and international travel links. The Chilworth Arms is approximately 75 miles from London and 21 miles from the Channel ports, making it the ideal stop off point for those travelling further afield.

From the north, London, and the Home Counties, the M3, M27, and A34 provide fast, direct access to the area, whilst the A36 is the main route from the West County, Bristol, and Wales.

Situated in the delightful village of Chilworth, The Chilworth Arms is surrounded by stunning countryside and wide open spaces, whilst the sights and attractions of Southampton are also close by.

The award winning Sir Harold Hillier Gardens area famous around the globe – and it’s easy to see why. Explore the woodland valleys, educational gardens, pond, paddock, winter garden, and Himalayan Valley before popping into The Chilworth Arms for a well-deserved drink or bite to eat.

Southampton Common, the largest open space in the city, is also within easy reach. Here you’ll find plenty of wildlife and nature, as well as a woodland, large lake, paddling pool, and play area. Fun for all the family!

Southampton City Art Gallery, Tudor House and Garden, SeaCity Museum, Buckler’s Hard, and Exbury Gardens are all accessible from The Chilworth Arms – so make sure you pop in after a long day exploring the area.
